Cairn House Hotel Ilfracombe

We recently stayed for four nights,and genuinely sad to leave.We were treated like members of the family at all times,as were our Daughter,son in law and grandchild,who visited us for a few hours,at the hotel.Room immaculate,recently redecorated,food fantastic.Hospitality and value for money were unbelieveably good. Will definately be returning,and have already recomended to many friends.This is real value for money and true comfort,marks out of ten would have to start at fifteen!!First class.

generally well run hotel with far off veiws of ilfracombe, the walk to the town and amenities is via a long steep hill, the decor is a little tired and the staff well meaning, most disappointing are the longer term guests who told us they are on benefits

Very friendly atmosphere and comfortable room, we felt that nothing would have been too much trouble to make our stay enjoyable. Hotel is on the outskirts of Ilfracombe but it is an easy walk to the centre and a very good base if, like us, you wish to enjoy many varied walks in the area. Great breakfasts certainly set us up for the day-would definitely stay here again. You will be assured of a very warm welcome.

I stayed here for a few days with my daughters and we had a lovely time. The rooms were spacious and clean and the breakfasts were delicious! Very helpful owner couldn't have done enough for us. Highly recommended.

Met all our expectations and more. My family and I had a family room, we all had a great week with a clean room to come back to every evening. I was happy with the price, and nothing was too much for the hotel to do for us. We all had a good breakfast every day to set us up. I would have no hesitation in returning here the next time I was around Ilfracombe.
