After driving down a cul-de-sac through a housing estate you enter an ample car park. The building is very nice & looks inviting, but is surrounded by a large chalet holiday park. There are no nice grounds/ gardens at this hotel, which is a big let down. Room was clean & bathroom very nice, but no remote for tv. Food in the restaurant was limited in choice, but breakfast was excellent, with attentive/ pleasant staff.

The hotel has a nice lounge, bar and so on and the room was large but looked over a mobile home site and could see right in people's gardens. There are no grounds to speak of so calling it a country house hotel is misleading. There was a wedding on Saturday evening and an entirely separate party in the other function room so there was no chance of eating at the hotel. We only found out about it when we turned up. That evening the music went on until Midnight and was following by furniture moving until 2am while they tidied up.
As there is a wedding or other party almost every weekend, I will not be returning to or recommending this hotel to anyone.
This was hardly the relaxing weekend break we had planned. The hotel website had been suspended just before my stay & I can only assume that relates to the misleading photo used. The hotel is actually at the end of a cul-de-sac having driven through a housing estate. Hardly the view they depict.
