The Two Bears Hotel has now closed. All boarded up. Going by previous reviews not suprised. Used to be one of the top hotels in Great Yarmouth but then went so down hill. No wonder its shut

The pictures on their website must be fake as when I stayed overnight it was disgusting. The beds are rubbish and the showers are filthy also the television didn't work properly as there was no remote. Although the breakfast was very nice but that was all that was decent about the whole Hotel.

Having seen pictures on website of rooms, thought would be a good place to stay overnight whilst visiting family. On arrival, took one look at room, and decided might not be staying after all. The doorframe was battered and peeling, the door opened onto the bed and bounced off. Radiator was behind the bed in place of a headboard. We were told when booking a room that a travel cot would fit- only just as long as you didn't want to move. For the price we had to pay, we were expecting the same quality would get at a travel inn- not worse. How it has got 3 stars, I don't know.

A nightmare from start to finish. They quoted me the wrong prices on the phone and we had to pay extra on arrival. The rooms was average but the room service was poor, i.e. no tea bags or toilet rolls replaced and the room was not hoovered once in 3 days. Brekfast was poor, location was good for town centre but on noisy road which can be heard through gaps in windows.
