This is our second stay at the Hotel Victoria and it was just a good this time! John and May (and their staff) make you feel like family. The hotel is well heated, very clean and tidy and the bar well stocked. Our party of 20 people were all treated to some good entertainment during our weekend stay and I did not hear one complaint (which is a first for our crowd). I sincerely hope that this hotel continues and prospers as they work so hard to make your stay a brilliant one. We were all disappointed that there were no bookings left for the Christmas holidays.

Happy atmosphere

We have just returned from a week at this hotel and it was super! The staff were friendly and helpful and joined in with the entertainment. Meals were wholesome and the service was express. Swimming pool was nice, but a bit chilly so didn't brave it. Some of the rooms needed a little TLC but he is in the process of doing this and anyway they were comfortable and clean. Would we return - we certainly would.

Good value for money accommodation. Very plesent proprietors who went out of their way to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. Good selection of drinks at the bar, including real ale! Swimming pool is a bonus.

Good quality accommodation made to feel very welcome, excellent food, close to all amenities. Going back this year.
