Clean, modern & very friendly

The hotel is very clean, it is up to date (most parts have been recently refurbished) and the owners are young and friendly. The owners dog is a Great Dane and absolutely gorgeous. The staff made us feel very welcome and we will definatley be returning. Keep up the good work.

The Hamilton Hotel was given 4 diamonds by the RAC and AA, which in my opinion was very misleading. The bedrooms, bed linen, towels & wardrobes were not clean (especially the bathrooms); the rooms were small and the owners dog wandered freely throughout most of the hotel (especially on guest lounge furniture).

Top Local Tips for Great Yarmouth

Winter = Early Closing Attractions if they Open at All We tried to go and see Caister Castle, Town Hall and the St. Nicholas Church on a Friday during the day. We were told that the church would not be open until Saturday. The Castle, despite the information on the website, was closed and would not be open until May. And the Town Hall despite our best attempt, we could not find Hall Plain. If you are going to eat out...we tried to eat at Harry Ramsden's, and had to make 2 trips because we didn't realize that they closed before 6 p.m. during the week. We wanted the traditional "Fish and Chips." So, we walked further down North Drive to another place for Fish n Chips and they were closed because the cook was out sick. There were several other places we tried to eat, but they were already closed for the evening and it wasn't even 6 p.m. We'd just left a business meeting and were not able to find a place that was open until we finally found The Executive. The food there was impeccable.

yarnmouth on the hole is a nice plase to stay hope this hotel improves
