Top Local Tips for Exmouth

Nico's Italian Restaurant Very nice restaurant. Good service. Good food. In centre of Exmouth.

Variations Families with young people - when you've enjoyed the beautiful beach and fresh air and want a day off - go out of the town along Exeter Rd. to Hulham Rd. and get up onto Woodbury Common's open spaces - some of which still used for Royal Marine Commando training - the young ones can really let fly and get rid of excess energy. Or if you are on a solo, or partnered trip the area is V.G. for a good walk.Also why not take yourself to Topsham by train from Exmouth and stroll around this typical Devonshire village. If going by car there is limited parking which in high season can be frustrating. This most certainly can be offset by enjoying refreshment from numerous tearooms and other catering establishments. Next day visit Budleigh Salterton, then return to the beach.

Eating at the Marina Excellent cafe/bar fantastic seafood soup and other dishes...serves only what's fresh that day...enjoy.
