This holiday was a coach holiday but was over priced at 276.00 per person for 4 night's holiday the rooms were advertised as a double room but were single rooms with a double bed in them. The bathrooms were very small especially when you had a shower couldn't swing a cat around them the rooms were clean though the restaurant staff were very polite and friendly the hotel needs allot of work doing on it both inside and out also fire alarm went off at 4.00am one night and people were going down stairs to get out of the hotel but were told false alarm no explanation the next day at all as to what had happened I thought this was very bad.

The Esplande looks quite tired and is in need of a bit of modernisation. The bedroom was a little pokey and not very clean. There was a hand basin in the bedroom and the bathroom was so tiny it was a squeeze to use the toilet. The restaurant staff were very efficient and friendly, the food was very nice and there were plenty of vegetables too. We had an all inclusive holiday but this I feel needs to be clarified. It meant that certain drinks were included but not others and only between 6.00 pm and 11.00 pm. If you wanted a coffee or tea other than at meal times, you had to pay and the refreshment snack, which served as your lunch consisted of a satuma/apple or pear, a small bag of cookies or a two finger KitKat and a small carton of juice. Should you want a sandwich this was extra at 1.80p which had to be ordered the day before. You could choose white or wholemeal bread but if they ran out of wholemeal, your sandwich was made up with white, so you either ate it or did without. The entertainment was varied and enjoyable but the off duty staff smoking at the bar (there was signs saying no smoking at bar) spoilt this as you could not escape the smell and smoke of cigarettes when ordering your drinks. This I found particulary offensive as I suffer from emphsemea.
