Great Value Weekend Break.

We were both impressed with our stay.We had read some reviews which varied but then realised the bad ones were over three years old.The main thing was the great value weekend break.Excellent food in the restaurant. Rooms very comfortable and up to date We had a suite which we would recommend for a further £20 per night which still gives great value. Nick and his staff where very friendly ,helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

Surly reception staff, bad attitude

Price, location good. Reception staff surly and unhelpful. Room not ready on arrival 3 hours after it should have been. No apology. Breakfast waitress on first day excellent (Slovakian) second day (Latvian) didn't speak a word of English. Hot water controlled from reception, not switched on for new arrivals, you have to ask and they don't like that. Restaurant shabby, needs decorating, furniture old and shabby. Definitely would not recommend this hotel.
