We have stayed at the above hotel a few times but this time was definitely the last. The carpets in our rooms (we had 2 rooms) were grotty. The cleaners leave a lot to be desired, they aslso leave a lot of DUST on the furnishings. The tv was grimey. The hotel inspector would have a field day in that place.Sorry, but I felt riffy staying there. I counted 3 spiders the first day plus a moth in the bathroom for both days we stayed. Please find alternative hotel OR take your polish and cleaning equipment with you.

Staff very friendly and welcoming. Location excellent, near to town and seafront with parking.

In much need of refurb but with current climate not likely to be soon.

Not the best but not the worst, and the atmosphere and helpfulness of the staff whilst coping with a hotel full of musicians and festival goers made up for the negatives.

First problem, the beds are as hard as rock, really bad nights sleep each night and there were a few stains on the bed covers. The hotel is ok, could do witha refurb though as decor is very tired and the room although was tidy just didnt seem clean to me as when we arrived there were dirty glasses and cups in the room, no toilet paper either! Breakfast was nice and the waiting staff very pleasent and helpful. Location is very good, right on the seafront.

Easter Weekend

On Easter Saturday, the 4th new manager was appointed, who at 10 O'clock decided to stop the Kareoke evening which runs every fortnight, bringing in both new clients and the regular locals that support the hotel throughout the winter. I feel sorry for Stuart, who has had to put up with 4 new managers, in the space of 12 months. He has worked hard to keep the bar trade, despite having no chef, for food orders. We stayed there for many weeks last year and considered purchasing the hotel, but unfortunately the owners do not seem to be interested in supporting the hotel. I for one will use the Cliftonville Hotel in future as the entire regular trade left in complete disgust, this evening. Stuart also walked out on easter saturday, which in our oppinion was a great shame, he was the best asset the hotel had, and we feel very sad for him.

Wow my stay was a great! I stayed over Xmas with my family but there was no room so I booked into the Anglia court hotel. The staff are so happy and helpful the food was divine plus all great value for money and I will never forget the view of the sands of Cromer beach!!!Apparently it's in for a new look when the new owners come along!!! If you ever go to Cromer this hotel is well recommend!!!
