i would definitely never use the Beresford hotel again i and my partner booked a fully inclusive weeks stay which i would not say was fully inclusive we paid an extra £30 for a room with a view the room did have a great view of Tolcarne beach but there was no fan in the room and it did tend to get very warm so had to have the window open all the time so got lots of noise every night non stop. There is no wine served with your meal, the meals were ok but could do with improvement, drinks are only inclusive after 7:30 and then only till 10:30 everywhere i have stayed when fully inclusive means you can get drinks included from when the bar opens up till it closes!!There is a little snack bar that serves meals and tea/coffee etc during the day but believe me you don't want to go there the prices are really high, another thing is packed lunches if you go out on one of the excursions you do not get a packed lunch unless you pay for it unbelievable, you have been warned wish i had been.

my son and me spent five days here in march last year and had a great time despite the bad weather on the way down. It was nice to be chauffered by terry, our cockney cornishman driver. The food was good and the staff were courteous. We're returning for eight days at the start of october.

What a brilliant holiday! Booked it with trepidation having seen previous reviews. Very pleasantly surprised. Excellent value for money(all inclusive); perfect location-across the road is Tolcarne beach;food was lovely and chef went out of his way to cater for our daughter who has a peanut allergy. Thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment, and the service at the bar and in the restaurant was very good. What more can I say-we enjoyed staying at the Beresford!

We have been all over Scotland with Shearings, and were highly satisfied with all now for the Beresford Hotel the room was very pokey with only one small wardrobe to hand the rooms had been made smaller by the bathrooms exstanding into each room, and there was no place to store ones cases except on the floor, and in ones way.
The room was kept very clean, and tidy by our maid we could not defalt her.
Now at dinner we had excellent service, but the meals were small and poor for a four star hotel.
The bar staff were excellent, and we could not defalt them the elevators left something to be disired as only two persons could use them at a time, and as I am disabled as far as walking to far is concerned I found I had to make it up the stairs or stand forever to enter or evade my room. We are booked for Ireland with shearings in July so I hope things are improved with the hotels we are given. Yours truly. Hoping.

Dear sir Madam,
I forgot to mention the Shearings driver "Simon" by name he was a marvelous driver, and never stopped entertaining us all with his coments, and his no all of the areas visited I am sorry I forgot to mention him in my first review after all we are with our driver for a great deal of our holiday thanking you again.

Excellent all inclusive value with fabulous visits and local knowledge from Simon the WA Shearings driver. Staff at the hotel could not do enough for people and special thanks to Jackie the manager, Caroline the entertainment host and Tina. Fab veiws and good food. Hotel clean however old fashioned. Would reccomend to people of all ages.
