Bathroom small, room stuff in the May heat, no air con or a fan available.
Dinner in their resturant was so so and service very poor as they were busy in a function room with a bus load of Americans so we and the other few guests in the main room forgotten about!
As room was facing the front and it was a weekend the noise from the night club across the road was horrible, but not as bad as from next door who assumed you wanted to rise with them at 6am!
Didn't help that house keeping was round by 8am to strip beds and decided we had to be part of the tour & tried to gain entry!
Breakfast was a lot better with a nice unassuming waiter.
Over priced, even if Petit Blanc is attached and even if its smack bang in the centre of Cheltenham & historcally the oldest purpose built hotel!
A much nicer hotel and less grand hotel, where by good fortune we had stayed the night before ( Queens couldn't keep us for all our stay) the Carlton in Parabola Road was 100% nicer and had huge rooms at a fraction of the cost, and yet this site doesn't have it listed!
