Fabulously re decorated! Knew it as the Holiday inn and now return every 3 months or so, and have stayed at other hotels nearby and have found the place I prefer. They do some very nice special weekend rates, but that's web bookings only I add. And sometimes you can get a free breakie or a 2 for 1 when you arrive which is an added bonus. French minimalist style of rooms, clean clear cut lines, nice 5 ft beds and tiled bathrooms in brilliant white ( wear shades if hungover!) Local staff very friendly andthe European ones getting better! Central location, just 5 mins from Temple Meads Train station ( pick up point for Airport bus as well) and 5 mins the other way and hey presto Bristol Bridge, great places to eat, Christmas Steps, and the City Centre!
