The Holiday Inn Bristol - Filton is situated some 3 to 4 miles from the city centre, just off J1 of the m32 and about 1 mile from J19 of the m4. Set in acres of park and woodland the hotel strikes just the right balance of peace and tranquility with convenience in terms of commuting to the city centre. The hotel has recently undergone a significant refurbishment and this has been carried out with attention to detail resulting in attractive yet functional public areas and rooms that provide pleasant decor, very reasonable space and above average facilities within the price range. I have stayed at the HI Filton on a number of occasions over the past couple of years and have always been impressed by the general professionalism and friendliness of management and staff, together with exceptional value for money. This is really one of my favourite hotels.
