Top Local Tips for Brighton

Brighton Museum Brighton Museum is worth a visit as its in a lovely building entered via the Pavilion Gardens at the back of the Royal Pavilion. Its free and there's something for everyone, Also they do good food in the cafe upstairs.

Ha! Ha! Bar and Canteen Absolutely fabulous restaurant - or even a great place to sip Pimms in the sun. Ha! Ha! is right next the the Royal Pavillion gardens and very close to the main shopping area, but at the same time away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. We went there in the evening for a Birthday meal and the waitress was absolutely fabulous from greeting us and letting us choose our table (ok so it was quiet), to taking our order without an order pad, then turning up with our lovely food, bringing complementary pink bubbles (with a strawberry) then giving us plenty of time to let our food go down before offering pudding. She paid attention to our every need and I feel offered better service than I have received in some top restaurants back at home. The food was also fabulous with a really varied range of dishes which were prepared to perfection and tasted great. Highly recommended. (Plus you can use your Tesco Clubcard points there)
