We went to celebrate our anniversary at Hotel Una because of many good reviews on the internet. And they're all true! The staffs were lovely and nothing was too much trouble for them. The bar was nice, room....Fantastic! we got the luxury room called Belise and we have our private sauna and huge Jacuzzi in our room! it was a very relaxing and very good experience Oh, we've got breakfast in bed as well, it's so good! I will recommend this place to everyone for sure.

Wonderful
from algarvestuart
Having had a dreadful experience at the Seaspray Boutique Hotel a few blocks away in Brighton (really a Guesthouse under a different disguise!), we had to find another hotel to stay in. The Una was just what we wanted. As our son is studying at BIMM, we will be going back!
Good value and friendly ambaince

My girlfriend and I spend two nights in this beautiful little hotel. The warm ambiance starts with a smile when you arrive continues in the romantic and well designed roomes and ends with a bill which is very reasonable.
We stayed in the Vedea room, I ahve to say that the room wasn't too big but just enough for two nights in a city like Brighton (do you really need more space...?). The room is on the top floow herefore I could imagine that it will get really hot in sommer (aircondition in the room).
We would definitely stay again in the UNA.

Excellent Hotel

After a lot of searching we found this hotel and are so pleased we did. Very clean, fresh and modern, the staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed in Loisse which had a lovely view over the square,
was spacious and perfect for our 2 night stay. We had 2 fantastic meals, the Saint and Havanna. Not cheap places but the food was spot on and lovely for special occasions.
We can't wait to return to hotel una in the summer. The hotel is in an
excellent location, a short walk from the shops, bars and the lanes.
All in all we had a fabulous time and would recommend the hotel to people after a relaxing break.

Excellent - Well worth the money.

Well. I never give an excellent rating, but this place fully deserves it so here goes.
Quite simply a lovely hotel. Tasteful modern decor, very clean, helpful and friendly staff, great location, wonderful breakfast. It is not the chepaest in Brighton but in the case of the Una you DO get your moneysworth. Thoroughly Recommend.
Note - NCP car park directly opposite (underground) with 30% discount for hotel guests.

Fantastic Boutique Hotel

We stayed at Hotel Una to celebrate our 30th birthdays. Everything about this hotel was great - from the service, to our room, to the wonderful Eggs Benedict for Breakfast. At first i was slightly hesitant due to the price, but although our room was small - we stayed in the Rhine, it was definitely worth the money.
Very chic in all areas, and we loved the bar - open 24 hours!
We would definitely come back here again and would recommend it to other couples.

Perfect weekend treat
from Anon00
My husband booked a surprise weekend here for my birthday and what a treat it was! Everything was excellent.....loved our room (Gaula), the staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was very tasty and my massage was lovely. And the location is great....a walk away from the beachfront, the shops, restaurants etc and still quiet.
A little gem
from daisydiddle
The outside of the hotel doesn't look too inspiring, but once inside you can see what your cash has bought you. Like many old houses converted to modern hotels, there are some interesting layout ideas, but the overall finish is to a high standard. We stayed in Wisa, a suite on the fourth floor. The only thing I can complain about is the size of the furniture - it's just too big for what is only an average size room. However, the quality of the furnishing and the general standard of the room does make up for this.
The Iraeli bar tender/cocktail maestro is superb - he knows how to make a delicious Margarita (which was very reasonably priced) and was great to chat to, as were all the staff.
The full English breakfast was excellent - just enough to fill you up, but not greasy.
Would I stay again? Definitely.

Modern Boutique hotel

Stayed in the Neris room for a fun weekend in Brighton. Room bright and spacious, fittings are modern, bathroom very nice. No view from this room.
The bed was slightly shorter than expected (I am 6'3" and didn't really fit in the bed).
£10 charge for glasses to be sent up to the room is an absolute joke.

Outstanding Service at Hotel Una
from hotel_connoisseur_7
We searched for ages to find the right hotel for our stay and we really came up trumps with Hotel Una. We booked the two smallest single rooms as we were on a budget, and to be fair - they were small!!! But for our pennies we got to stay in a really stylish hotel where attention to detail is everything. The whole hotel was spotless and smelled gorgeous but what sets this place apart is the customer service. I had a small issue with my shower and it was dealt with immediately, the concierge managed to book us a last minute restaurant table which we could not have achieved ourselves and everyone we met seemed to be falling over themselves to accomodate us. I have read other reviews of this hotel and I have to say that whoever wrote about a bad breakfast experience must have really been there on an off day because both mornings we had superb breakfasts. I will definately stay here again, in fact I wouldn't consider anywhere else - next time I'll book a luxury room to get the full benefit of the experience.
Loved it!!

The Hotel Una is simply one of the best hotels I have stayed in in this country. We had originally booked to go to Hotel Pelirocco but, after a mix up with our booking, we chose the Una which is situated on a lovely square, a short stroll from the centre of Brighton.
We stayed in 'Jubba' room which is classed as a luxury room and it didn't disappoint! It was more like a suite, with a bedroom and living area separated by a glass wall, bathroom and a shower cubicle in the bedroom. All of the furnishings were very high quality-they definitely haven't scrimped on this hotel!
The breakfasts were great-lovely fresh food and lots of choice and all of the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful.
I would not hesitate in returning to this hotel or recommending it to anyone else. OK, so you might be able to find a cheaper room elsewhere but Hotel Una is worth every penny!

Top Local Tips for Brighton
Havana & Moshi Moshi Had great meals at both of these restaurants, although Havana was considerably more expensive. Thoroughly recommend them both.
Parking Hotels in Regency Sq are useful because of the underground parking
Royal Pavillion and the Lanes Would recommend the tour of the Royal Pavilion (somewhere inside when it rains!) and wandering around the Lanes when it isnt raining!
