Masonic Event
For the past 12 year we have been to the Trouville for a Masonic weekend in May. Location is good, close to town and beach. Every stay has been enjoyable. The food is fantastic, great selection and well presented. The staff could not be more helpful. They are a great team and its nice to see those you recognise and who recognise you from the previous year.
As with everything there is always something that needs sorting. The room needed decorating (bit tired), and the squeeky floorboards need sorting. However I understand they are in the process of revamping all rooms, with some already completed.
In their revamp of the restaurant/function room, they moved the dance floor to a new position which is completely wrong. It should be in the center so everyone can reach easy, or if you don't dance you can see everyone who is. However, even with the negative comments we will be back next year. Thanks for a great weekend.

Suite
We booked wit Trouville’s sister hotel the Tralee and were not impressed so we checked out the Trouville which was a short walk away and were surprised in the difference between the two three star hotels. We were then shown two rooms of which one was the suite and straight away we decided to move to the Trouville and the staff sorted everything out regards to transferring from the Tralee Hotel this made our 1st family holiday even better a great suite and the staff were fantastic.

Could have been better in someways!
I went on a Hen weekend. The location was brilliant; easy access to beach, shops and all the nightlife. However, the room we had was underneath the restaurant so therefore from 5330am all we could hear was people setting the tables for breakfast! Also Sat night they had a private wedding, which again was great, but the point was, they didnt let us know! Out of coutesy I felt they could have warned us or not even put people into that room. The room was very spacious but in need of some painting! Plenty of parking space. If you want a place that is good value for money and near to everything, then pick this. The breakfast was normal continental but OK. Worth a visit but be careful which room they put you in!
