Booked two rooms for my family here. For the price, the food was excellent and good choice of menu. Vegatables were all fresh and food piping hot.
Bedrooms were a little dated, but bathrooms (ours had showers) very clean and recently tiled or at least grouted. Staff very pleasant.We used our mobiles to contact each other because the rooms did not have telephones.

Location is very good, short walk to the end of the road to the sea. 10 minute walk along prom to BIC and 15 min walk to the pavillion. Plenty to do in Bournemouth.
The seaside is beautiful and has blue flag beaches, lots of amenities on the lower promenade including showers. Refreshments very expensive at the lower prom seaside cafes. Fab lolly ice £1.10p each, instant coffee £1.80! Also taxi driver from railway station when we arrived took us on a ring-road tour instead of heading straight to the hotel. On our return to the station , Taxi booked through the hotel, charged £4.80, which was £2.60 less.Don't like that level of being ripped off.
In summary, you get value for money at Kiwi Hotel, but don't expect 5* for 2* money and you will be pleased especially if you have dinner B&B.

Stayed for three nights in August 2005. Bedroom was worn, old fashioned but clean. Food wasnt very good standard and often cold. Problem with parking. Complained on the last day and owner got stroppy with me after he asked how I enjoyed my stay!
