Just got back from out first short break at the Wilton Hotel Dickson Road, Blackpool.
June and Andrew are the perfect hosts and make your stay very enjoyable.
the hotel is clean and comfortable and the food is really terrific.
We had one of the four-poster en suite rooms (room 4), and it was very very nice.
Room was cleaned and bedding changed daily.
Nothing was too much trouble for June and Andrew.
We will be back for many more visits.

Hotel is located just one street back from promenade, and is quieter than a lot of other areas of Blackpool, but everything is still within easy walking distance, it's really handy for the North Pier area, and the Tower and central areas are all easily walkable.

Nearby must visit places are : The Soul Suite (opposite North Pier), The North Pier for its superb good value family shows.

We ate at a few places but we were mightily impressed by a small cafe we found called Quilligans ,95 Church Street

If you park ! If;you Park your car(and that can take a long while),don't,move it,if you're only,going to see,the attractions,'cause it's a nightmare,to find a parking space(I mean in September)!And to,walk's good for your hearth,so the experts say !

Trams and buses Buy a tram / bus pass when you arrive in Blackpool, it is excellent value for money and even gives an extra discount for senior citizens.
