II am a regular user of hotels, this is by far the cleanest and most comfortable I have ever stayed in. The couple are friendly and pay a lot of attention to detail. The bar is a drinkers dream, as it looks like a real pub and the beer is great too. I will definitely use this hotel and recommend it for others, breakfast was beautiful with large portions too. The rooms are very modern and spotlessly clean and all the laundry was soft and fresh. This was a superb place to stay and nothing was too much trouble, see you soon Pete, thanks a million.
Fantastic !!!

Having heard some horror stories about Blackpool hotels,we were a little dubious about staying in one, but we are so glad we took the chance.
This is by far the friendliest and cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in.
Pete and Trisha made us feel like one of the family, nothing was too much trouble and the rooms were absolutely spotless, and the breakfast was brilliant.
The bar was an eye opener, not the usual small bar stuck in one corner of the dining room, but a huge bar in the basement, just like a pub,but with a stage and large sofa's as well as the traditional bench seating and pub tables.
We have already booked to return in October for the illuminations....." BRILLIANT,BRILLIANT,BRILLIANT" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All night long! For the best nights out definately Blackpool. Lots of choice and something for everyone.
Hot Ice Great show, don't miss it.
Greek restaurant Great Greek restaurant just round the corner from the tower. Have the set meal. Sorry, can't remember the name of the place but just pass the tower on your left and then turn right at the bottom of the road and it's on the right. Ther restaurant is upstairs.

We were greeted warmly when we arrived. The rooms were spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. There were plenty of tea and coffee supplies which were even topped up the next day, and the rooms were also cleaned for us the following day.
Petes wife, trish, made a gorgeous breakfast...,cereals, toast, full english, everything cooked just how i like it!
We spent our last night down in the beatles-themed cellar bar with pete and trish. The bar was a large size with comfy sofas, and full of beatles pictures and memorabilia. it was a nice atmosphere and we had a good laugh. All in all, we had a perfect stay. I always think it is difficult where to start looking for somewhere to stay in Blackpool, as there are so many hotels and b&b's to choose from. I think we struck very lucky when I found this place. I think the main asset of the Strawberry Fields, is the friendliness of the hosts Pete and Trish, which makes all the difference to me personally, as I don't believe you enjoy your stay in somewhere as much, if the hosts don't make an effort to be friendly with you. The added bonuses of this place is the value for money (only £24 pppn), the cleanliness and Trish's lovely brekkies!
Thanks Pete and Trish. Wwill definitely be staying at your place again when we come to blackpool again.
