My friend and I decided on a wee break and we went to blackpool. we stayed at the seabank hotel and we have a fantastic time..... Everything was great from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed. The staff were efficient, courtious and friendly. My friend and I both work in the caterung industry so this was a refreshing break for us. We met some lovely people and had an absolute ball. We will go back so a big thankyou to everyone at the hotel.

I go to this hotel every year sometimes twice in the same year and having always giving my reviews a 10 as I could not find any fault, however this year was terrible, rude unhelpful staff, outside the doorway was like a gypsy camp it was filthy with spilt beer, cig ends & broken glass, entertainment lounge was far too hot and the enertainers wasn't up to much, food was very poor compared to previous visits, most of the guests were all complaining about the filth outside and the service. Will not be back, will find another hotel that is value for money, but not cheap & nasty.

BIG MONEY BINGO?

Stayed at the Royal Seabank at end of November last year and have been there several times before. There is a gang of us who go who are avid bingo fans and that is one of the reasons we go to the Seabank. We used to pay £3 per strip of tickets and the winnings would be maybe £150-£200 as the room is very full. However we soon realised on this visit that they had put the charge up to £5 per strip which is not too bad HOWEVER what they now pay out is very low indeed. They paid out roughly £30 line £50 2 lines and maybe £80 full house. This cabaret room was full with maybe 120 people in it yet they only paid out £160 approx each night. You dont have to be Carol Vorderman to work out that someone somewhere is making a lot of money. We raised this matter with the lady on reception and she said if we weren`t happy we didnt have to play which we thought was very rude particularly as we have been staying at the Seabank for several years. Because of this we have decided not to return to the Royal Seabank Hotel as we dont think that taking money off pensioners is something that should be supported.
heating

We enjoyed the cabaret entertainment but it was marred on Sunday evening when the heating had been switched off. It was extremely cold and many of the guests went to their room because the cabaret bar was freezing. It was a shame they missed the cabaret because he was excellent.I also felt for the acts as the room was two thirds empty. What ever the saving was on the heating was lost on the bar takings. Such a shame.
