My wife and I spent 4 days over Easter at the Newlands Hotel and we certainly could not find anything at all to complain about. The meals were excellent (really outstanding breakfast), rooms spotless and the owners were a lovely couple (who entertained us extremely well during our stay).
There was a Lord of the Rings themed dining room that looked really impressive and the bar area was musically themed with an assortmant of instruments, pictures, etc. The owner entertained us with some guitar and vocals every evening.
Altogether an outstanding visit, we will be returning.

One of the best hotels we have ever visited anywhere. Extremely clean, lovely food and very friendly hosts. Well recommended.

Top Local Tips for Blackpool

Good Honest Food!!!! Not a good place if you don't always want to eat fast junk food dripping in grease unless you want to always pay restaurant prices. A simple cottage pie is £6-£7.50 in most places. If you have a car and you want sandwiches, especially if you have a family, go and visit the nearest Morrisons - it's one hell of a lot cheaper then paying £3 for a plain simple cheese salad or ham salad sandwich!!!
