Best B&B in Blackpool
Having visited many B&B's in Blackpool, I can say without doubt this is the best one I have been to. The room was very fresh and bright and definitaly one of the cleanest rooms I have stayed in at any B&B or hotel. It was also very quiet at night with the very nice hotel bar in the basement keeping any noise from folk enjoying a drink well away from the rooms. This B&B was perfect for famalies and couples, young and old and I will definitly be recomending it to my friends with young families as the perfect palce to stay in Blackpool. Kath and Rick were very friendly and thier warm hospitality will ensure future visits from myself as well.

Home from Home
Kath & Rick were the perfect Hosts, which made for a Home from Home atmosphere for the Two weeks that I stayed there. Kath's breakfast was amazing, all freshly cooked.
Ensuite Bedroom was very clean and comfortable. A good night's sleep was had every single night. Would definately use this hotel again. Excellent value for money.

Awful bed - Lumpy Mattress
I've travelled all over the world and just started visiting different areas of the uk. Marlow lodge was my 3rd experience of a B&B and sadly it lived up to all my fears! We booked online & could find no reviews. It started badly, as it smelt of Dog when you walked into the Hotel. But our own room did not smell. The room allocated was tiny, although presented in a clean and fresh manner. The furniture was white melamine, looked homemade by a DIY enthusiast! But the worst was yet to come! The BED. How anyone could call it a bed and charge money to sleep on it is beyond me. As you looked at the bed you could see the dips and rises, when you sat on it the mattress collapsed to nothing! Further inspection of the bed showed that the base underneath had collapsed on one side, offering no support to the mattress whatsoever. We had the most horrendous nights sleep ever at Marlow Lodge & that was only after putting a spare duvet under the mattress along with a cushion from the chair! But it was ...Read more
