This was a fantastic hotel to stay. The owners angela and keith were a lovely couple and made our stay so pleasant. Would stay nowhere else on next trip to blackpool. The room was lovely and clean, excellent food was served. The prices were very reasonable so thank you angela and keith for making our stay one to remember. Hope to see you again soon. Rose

I found the king Edward hotel a warm and very welcoming place to stay. Keith and Angela are very friendly people with with great customer service. The room was very clean and tidy as was the entire hotel. It really felt like a home from home. I would not look for anywhere else to stay when returning to blackpool and feel confident that this is a place i would take my children to stay as the hotel is very child friendly. The prices are very reasonable and the food is of a great standard Would really recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to blackpool. Can not thank Keith and Angela enough for everything this weekend and making our stay fantastic.

Any low reviews given on this Hotel are a joke, this is by far the Best most welcoming Hotel in Blackpool.Nothing is too much trouble for the owners Keith and Angela and this alone has resulted us in going back to the hotel many times and also recommending it to friends who are also of the same opinion. The Hotel is in the quiet North end of Blackpool away from the hustle and bustle, prices are very reasonable and the rooms are very clean and of a good size, the food is excellent and the Bar area is a very good place to meet new friends on a evening with bar prices been very cheap. Overall the Hotel is first class with service and standards to match, highly recommended

Booked to stay here as a last minute break. We've visited many hotels in Blackpool, and it's usually difficult for us as a family of five (two adults and 3 children) to get a family room to accomodate us. Not at the King Edward though!
In brief, excellent all round! Great breakfast, clean, tidy and homely rooms. Very reasonable and well stocked bar. Little touches make the difference here, along with a truly friendly approach and professionalism. Our children and I really enjoyed our brief stay here, - we're going back very soon. Can't understand the other poor reviews on here, must be a different hotel or just someone making up stories? Trust me, you'll enjoy your stay with Keith and Angela! Thanks guys!

After making booking for this hotel and having it confirmed. The hotel member of staff who I felt was rather rude about the matter telephoned to cancel my booking as it was only for 1 night and they wanted 2 nights. I personally believe a better booking may have come in and they took that, being on business in the area I can only stay for 1 night as work commitment meant I had to be elsewhere the following day
Another wonderful stay

Arrived at this hotel and the owner of the hotel had really bad customer service skills. She had a really bad attitude towards myself and my family. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The owner tried to rob us, I had to pay a deposit of 30 pounds before arrival which I did. The language that came out of the owners mouth was horrible and we ended up leaving the hotel. The owner took money out of my bank account. PLEASE BE AWARE AND AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Very good service

trams they are cheaper the further the distance you travel . they are cheaper than taxis
Looking for peace and quiet? After taking in a Les Dawson tribute show in the Opera House, we avoided the pubs in the town centre as they were bursting at the seams with crowds of boisterous drinkers. The hotel bar was the perfect place to finish off the evening.
