We found the hotel very comfortable, clean and great value for money. Keith, the landlord, was funny and helpful and ran an excellent bar in the hotel. The breakfast in the morning was not only massive, but very tasty indeed! The next time we visit Blackpool the King Edward will be at the top of our list for places to stay.
A very warm welcome

We booked this Hotel as it was away from all the hustle and bustle of Central Blackpool, the Hotel is a very short walk from the Promenade where Buses and Trams are every ten minutes so the attractions of Blackpool are only 5 minutes away, we found Keith and Angela very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much for them, the breakfast was excellent with portions that kept you going for the day, Bar prices were very reasonable at less the £2 for a pint of Bitter or Lager they also had a large selection of Whiskeys for those wanting a little something special. The rooms were large and very clean with all the usual extras TV etc, all in all we had an excellent stay and would recommend this Hotel anyone wanting to be away from the noise of Central Blackpool and to be made to feel welcome I would definitely return.
Great place, very friendly

We were made to feel that nothing was too much from our hosts. The rooms were imaculate and very comfortable. The breakfast was great with endless supplies of tea, coffee and toast. The cooked breakfast kept us all going for the rest of the day. We chose to have an evening meal which was excellent value at £8 for 4 courses. I will certainly use this hotel again and recommend it to anyone visiting Blackpool.

trams they are cheaper the further the distance you travel . they are cheaper than taxis
Looking for peace and quiet? After taking in a Les Dawson tribute show in the Opera House, we avoided the pubs in the town centre as they were bursting at the seams with crowds of boisterous drinkers. The hotel bar was the perfect place to finish off the evening.
