This extremely reasonably priced hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff were brilliant. The breakfast was exceptional and the location was great for the seafront/pleasure beach. A nice walk along the front brought you to the tower and surrounding area with plenty of other transport links (bus/tram/horse drawn carriage) for the less physical. I will definitely be using this hotel again, the only draw-back being limited private parking but even this wasn't a problem due to the availability of free street-side parking on the road the hotel was situated on. Having a small child we never got to sample the available facilities but the bar area looked clean and large enough for a full house of guests and during peak times there was a line-up of entertainment for every taste. All in all i am happy to give this Hotel a top rating and would recommend anyone to try it.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The staff were friendly rooms clean, entertainment quite good but food was ok. I had to wait after I had finished my soup (out of a packet)for 20/25mins before I was served main course (with frozen veg) the desserts were awful...bright yellow custard with a cheap sponge or rice pudding which was unedible, cheese and biscuits had no selection of cheeses just a couple of slices of cheddar. The breakfast was quite good but bacon overcooked
simply the best

We stayed for 4 nights & enjoyed 2 nights entertainment (one of which was Rat Pack Tribute). Everything was excellent! All the staff are very friendly. We will definitely go back & recommend it to others. Very good!

I stayed in this location before for a hen night and found the previous manager Mr Ali great at his job I have tried to re book but found the receptionist really rude when I asked if I could talk to the previous manager she just hung up so I don't think I will be booking with them.

- staff could not do enough for you. Rooms very clean & very warm. Great location & reasonably priced
Only negative was chef/cook does not know how to cook fish & breakfast appeared to have been prepared by microwave
Would definitely stay again
