We had a two day break in Blackpool which was made excellent by Alan,Kate and Victoria the owner/managers. Kates cooking is spot on and must be the best for value in the local area. Only matched by Alans good humour behind the bar and the reasonable prices. The hotelis under refurbishment but the major work is now over and it is a credit to them that the hotel rooms are in an excellent state. We will be returning next year.

Top Local Tips for Blackpool

Sea Life Centre Whatever the weather, the Sea Life Centre in Blackpool is a fascinating and inspiring place to visit, with wonderful fish, sharks, sea horses etc. and enthusiastic professional staff. The hot dogs in the cafe are excellent too!

The Tower Wouldn't recommend Tower for children over 12 - my son wasn't interested in watching the circus so we effectively paid the £20 in to go to the top of the tower and down again.

Just ask the staff. We hadnt been to Blackpool before, we just asked the staff anything we needed to know i.e what to do. were to go. were to eat etc.
