had a lovely long weekend at the Doric and we couldn't fault the staff or the hotel.The rooms were lovely and the food was good.The majority of guests we spoke to return year after year.

i went with my children and found this hotel fab , clean, friendly, food out of this world. the only disadvantage is the uncertain weather.

Hello from your Geordie friends. The Doric hotel is amazing, we first went about 5 years ago and I was mortified when I walked in the entrance because it looked old fashioned but first impressions can be changed BIG TIME! We got back at least 3 times a year and have a great time. The entertainment is great (especially Linda and Krazy Karl) all the staff are so friendly and we have made so many new friends. It is great to meet up with all the guests over and over again and I have one of my best friends from this hotel and we often go back to the Doric to meet up. My whole family love it and a HUGE thank you and well done to ALL the staff… Oh and they have the best bingo caller EVER (George). See you in August.

We looked on the net for a hotel that looks good on pics. We went for this one. We are so happy we did it. The staff are very helpful, food was great are room was a fam. room and it was big lots of space and Very clean. This is to the staff Thank you for our stay and we would always come back we loved it. If you want to enjoy a stay in a hotel - This is this one. kim & fam
