Arrived not knowing what to expect at a hotel for disabled, but it was a great hotel for attention and care. It was not the most stylish place to stay, but I have not been to one with such decent staff. Even the entertainers were just so helpful without effort. I would recommend the Bond Hotel to anyone looking for a clean place to stay with great food and lovely staff.

I took my mother in law who is now 90. She can't get about & needs to be pushed in her wheelchair everywhere. For my company, I took my 13yr old daughter.
The hotel was clean, staff very friendly, entertainment was good, the food was hot and tasted okay - never had to complain about anything.
What you need to know is this hotel caters for every disabilty and people with every disabilty go there, it opened my eyes that's for sure.
For a family get away - if you need disabled access 100% don't want to cook, would prefer some entainment then stay here. Mum has already asked me if we're going back this year as she enjoyed it. If you're looking for a get away from it all holiday and don't really need the disabled access then you'll find somewhere else. We enjoyed our stay, I found it by pure chance - and would recomend it but has always it's what you make of it, they are planning on a refurb - not sure of start dates so hope they don't clash with next years short break.

We had a lovely time at the bond, as a carer I thought they offered a brilliant service all in all. For both the residents (disabled) & carers. The food was excellent, piping hot and loads of it. There was always a wide choice of meals. The staff was great, entertainment was great, rooms was cleaned daily. The only trouble with this hotel was probably us staying there... haha. Would go again tomorrow, missing all the fun.

We have just come back from Blackpool and I have never stayed in a hotel so bad. The poor staff seem to have to run around doing every job under the sun. A member of staff told me they have to work six day`s a week and if they are lucky, they may get two half day`s off. Tthe food well, breakfast was not to bad, but the evening meal was a joke. I have never seen such mean portions or badly cooked food. On our first day, I reported the light bulb in our room did not work. That evening I found a light bulb on the floor. I tried to put it in and guess what. It did not work. This was reported every day but was never done. We did see a cleaner each morning but she only had time to empty the bins. The room itself was never cleaned for the duration of our stay. When I spoke to the cleaner, she told me she had to clean forty rooms a day and there was no time to do anything but empty the bins. The other good thing about our room was the window sills. These were not even fitted. You could just lift them out. I will say the heating worked well in the room, but as soon as you went into the main building restaurant etc it was very cold they had very old storage heaters around the hotel which did not work. The one thing in its favor was the entertainment that was very good on Tuesday evenings. They had a guy called John Paul. He must have been around 72, but he was excellent. All the owners were about how much money they could get you to spend. This place needs thousands spent on it. Why is it disabled people have to stay in this sort of accommodation? They should not have to make do with second best.

What a fabulous place! Staff were really friendly especiallly our waiter (S), what a fantastic guy! I was supporting two men who have learning disabilities who had a great time, they enjoyed the entertainment which on the night, something diffrent every evening. Even seen the Blackpool donkeys in the hotel and had our photos taken with them! The hotel is what You make of it, the beds were comfortable and clean, found the shower/wet-room very spacious and accesible. Food very nice, never felt hungry! Yes, I accept the hotel could do with being updated slightly, however still very very comfortable and lovely helpfull staff. Thank You all for a fantastic time! See You guysn again soon.

The worst hotel ever have I stayed, Dirty smelly. Table cloths never changed they have old food slopped all over them. Food bland & luke warm. The entertainment is far too loud for the size of the room, they think it's the albert hall.
The management rude & unhelpful. Take my word don't come here , save your hard earned cash and book somewhere nice in Blackpool, but not the Bond.

Well what can I say about the hotel, everything great. The hotel was beautiful, the staff most obliging, professional and so so caring. The atmosphere in the hotel great. Nothing that the staff wouldn't do for you. The owner was very helpful and very friendly to his guests and staff. The thing I liked about the hotel was that everyone was the same, whether carers or service users. No-one was treated any differently. Will be back with more next year and to top it all, we have all made some really great friends to keep in contact with. I would go as far to say that I enjoyed my working holiday and would go there with my family that don't have a disability. Only one criticism and that is that there are no other hotels like it, maybe they should open one up in the east of england. Keep up the good work to the owner and all his staff. Well Done. miss you already.

This is a hotel for wheelchairs only as there are so many you can't move around without bumping into one. You can't hear the cabaret for the noise everybody is making. The rooms were freezing cold and smelly. The bedding wasn't the best. The meals were nice but again too many people cramped into a restaurant and the noise was awful. Staff very friendly but very overworked. There was no car park therefore parking was on the pavements nearby. The outlook not good.
