Great staff, lovely relaxing environment - felt very chilled after my stay

As part of my job as a Consultant I have to visit clients all over the U.K. which necessitates overnight stays. In 30+ years of staying in hotels / B&B’s etc, I have never found it necessary to write about any of my stays. However, after my experience at Mytton Fold last week, I felt I must put pen to paper.

First of all my visit wasn’t planned. I was supposed to be staying with relatives, but for personal reasons this became impossible. At 5:00pm that evening I contacted Mytton Fold and was dealt with immediately and professionally as if nothing was too much trouble. I arrived late but was met in a friendly way and the staff went out of their way to help me with refreshments etc.

After a long day driving down from Glasgow I was shown to my room. The “Hyacinth Room” was just incredible. Tasteful, comfortable and packed with these little extras which you rarely get but which make all the difference. I woke to open the curtains to see the incredibly beautiful Ribble Valley. After an excellent breakfast (again supervised by some incredibly friendly staff) I departed.

It was a very pleasant experience and I can assure you I will be back. Hopefully with a little more time and perhaps even my golf clubs!

Mytton Fold is a real gem.
