I stayed for 1 night and it was excellent. The staff were polite and friedly and the breakfast was very nice also. I enjoyed the homely feel and the lovely young man who served my breakfast in the morning.

The hotel is in a lovely quiet street and very close to the town. However the hotel is in need of decoration and the service is terrible. I normally don't write reviews but I need to return to Basingstoke and am looking for a different hotel. I will not be going to the Fernbank and would like people to not share my bad experience.
