happy clean place

from travelchampion
nothing but positive things to say about my stays here. cleaner than most if not all properties in turkey. friendly helpful staff that make you feel at home. perfectly situated just five minutes walk to the entrance to the park. best of all is the food. no joke. i know good food, and this is the best. i am a foreigner living and working in turkey and have stayed here multiple times and recommended it to all my friends. everyone has been more than satisfied. feel confident in your choice to stay here. i know you will enjoy your time.

Home away from home!

from wanderlust1110
I have nothing but good things to say about our stay at Melrose Allgau Hotel. From the time we landed, Mehmet & Ulmi took such good care of us, we had no cause for complaint!
The rooms are spacious, airy & clean. Hot water & clean towels are always available.
And the hot, home - cooked meals are to die for! Ulmi is a fabulous cook & will smilingly rustle up a meal for you, even at short notice.
Mehmet & Ulmi went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.
I just happened to mention that the lace curtains they had were very nice & Ulmi immediately offered to give me some new ones that she had purchased!
Even though we stayed there for only 2 days, we felt like we had known them for much longer! I would highly recommend this hotel to everybody.....Mehmet & Ulmi's hospitality is unmatchable!

Heaven in Turkey

from littlemisspurplekate
I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful family run hotel. Its just perfect. A fabulous couple Mehmet and Ulmi and theirdarling two kids will make your stay an awesome experience. This place is the ultimate home away from home. So clean you could eat off the floor, a great pool to swim and relax in, treehouses to satisfy your inner child, and delicous meals cooked right there by Ulmi in the rose garden. You couldnt ask or want for more,,, perhaps the BEST thing is that there are colorful sheets on all the Queen size beds so you actually feel like a guest at someones home rather than in a hotel,,, They are so friendly and bend of backwards to ensure that you get to see and do everything in the region.... if you go to Pamukkale you CANNOT go past this place !

extremely happy, clean and peaceful

from Codroft
I stayed there for two nights and was extremely impressed due to it being family run. Everywhere was exceptionally clean, and was impressed with the customer service and the home cook meals. This Hotel is the "home'" away from home hotel. Has got a very relaxing atmosphere when situated in the garden and pool areas. Many thanks to the staff and hotel owner for the pleasent stay at your "near perfect" hotel. Highly recommend for travellers to stay.

Excellent Place to Stay

from LivinginIstanbul
We would highly recommend the Melrose Allgau. We stayed for just one night, but would have loved to stay longer. The room was clean and very comfortable and the price was very reasonable. This hotel offers a great play to stay and best of all, boasts some of the friendliest hosts you can find.

Lovely experience

from moycor
We arrived at Pamukkale on a rainy day in december and had only limited time to visit the sights. Mehmet and his wife were very helpful, preparing sandwiches, showing us the way and then driving us back to the bus stop. Will definitely go back in the summer.

Loved the Allgau Hotel

from worldtravelers1
We agree with all of the previous reviews. We stayed here for 2 nights in December and really enjoyed it. The rooms are very nice - one of the best rooms we stayed in in Turkey and definitely the best value. As fantastic as the rooms are what really sets this hotel apart is Mehmet and Umi. The breakfasts and dinners we had there were great and we really enjoyed talking to them - they are lovely hosts and very interesting to talk to.

help and peace

from aidevoyage
Our family stayed in Allgau hotel in october. We drove to Pamukkale and arrived late in the afternoon. We had not booked a hotel so we started to search for one that looked nice and clean!
After looking at 4 others we arrived at the Melrose Allgau and immediatly new this was the one. The rooms were clean, the people helpfull and friendly, and as we stayed 3 days we discovered the food was the best in town!
The owner is planning to organise trips in the forest of the near by valley, teaching the art of fishing and recognize wild edible fruits, what a great idea, we hope he does and we will be back!

Excellent Hotel with Great Food

from Moreau-Verlaan
My husband and I stayed at the Allgau in October 2006 (towards the end of Ramadan). This hotel is fantastic - clean, bright, large rooms. Mehmet picked us up at the bus station in Denizli (~ 15 minute ride). Upon arrival, we were invited into the common room for tea and drinks. A traditional Turkish meal was served - the lentile soup and sis-kebabs were awesome.

We spent two weeks touring around Turkey and the Allgau Hotel was the best accommodations and meals we had throughout our entire trip!

Top Local Tips for Pamukkale

Aphrodisia--Our Favorite Ancient City in Turkey Plan to stay in Pamukkale and extra day to visit Aphrodisia. It was our favorite ancient city in Turkey, in a beautiful setting, with very well preserved structures, including the beautiful Temple of Aphrodite. An American professor directed the archaeology work from 1961 to 1990 and is buried on the grounds. The English signs describing the sites are so well done you don’t need a guide. Best of all, there were very few other tourists.

Afrodisias is a must If you must choose between Ephesus and Afrodisias, head for the hills! In this uncrowded, verdant island in time, you will experience a connection with the day-to-day life of classical antiquity that cannot be made in the presence of thousands of package-tour visitors.

easy tip just contact Algau..look for their website on google, send mehmet a email..the rest is taken care of..really!! Also, if you can fly to denzili instead of coming down from Izmir and then taking the 4 hr long bus journey
