Dirty bedding, cold water, food was chicken, pasta and salad, banging doors, unhelpful staff, dirty carpets, there was no electric in my room for 2 days, we had to eat out all the time, the pool was to deep for children, play area was on scrubby land at the back of hotel. DO NOT RECOMMEND ABACUS GREEN TO ANYONE. SHARA'S WAS GREAT !!!(DOWN THE ROAD)
Very disappointing

The food was very repetitive and often cold as every meal we had was chicken cooked in different ways and there were never much of an alternative, we ended going out to the local pubs for our food. There was never enough sun loungers and not many of them had mattresses, but by the time we came to get a lounger there were never any left due to people having thrown towels over them to claim they were theirs and for people of our age stood no chance for not only being content with the loungers they had claimed they would claim a further 5 or 6 for their friends which was very unfair and would be left empty for ages and I complained more than once to the staff who informed me that any towels put on loungers before 8.am they would be removed and that never happened once so we ended up going somewhere else to get some comfort and respect which we certainly did not get at the Green Abacus, the male members of staff were only interested in the young girls as opposed to looking after the customer. I would not for one minute consider going there again. We thought we would at least get a quiet nights sleep after
Such awful days but even that was wrong, there were people who were drunk and arguments never stopped, plus the disgusting language and the banging of the doors and this would usually carry on into the early hours of the morning leaving us too tired to do much else. Myself and my husband felt so let down and disappointed as this was our Silver anniversary present from our children and they could tell how upset we were, I would never entertain coming back here and neither would any of my family for as you know bad news travels fast.

We have traveled all over and have never encountered such an hotel! On our arrival at 5:15 we were meet by local police and a drunken woman. 15 minutes latter a fight outside our room. During our fortnight stay this behavior seemed to be the norm - together with the doors banging and dogs barking. The food was the same thing everyday and was bland and boring. I do not recommend it to anyone.

Me and my friend booked this holiday for £420 each for two weeks before leaving we had read up on some of the reviews on this hotel. We were dreading going on our holiday we were flying at 9.20 on the Friday night, when we arrived at the airport the flight was delayed an hour. when finally getting on the plane we sat on the runway for an hour but hey ain't all flights like that, when we finally arrived at the hotel 3 hours late we were very surprised at what we saw. The hotel was very clean and friendly. The members of staff were always up for a laugh with you. The entertainment in the hotel is mainly BINGO, BREAK DANCERS, BELLY DANCERS AND TWO DISCS OF THE SAME MUSIC SO WHAT EVER YOU DO TAKE SOME CD'S WITH YOU HAHA. The food is very basic but you will always find something you like (NO GOOD IF YOU DONT LIKE CHICKEN) the only meal a didn't like was breakfast, but you can get a full English breakfast round the corner at the oasis bar for 4 lira which is fantastic and the staff are the best bunch of people you'll find there. Your hotel is very clean they get changed every day and also fresh towels on a daily basis. Some days you didn't have hot water for a shower but you were glad of that as the heat over there was to hot to handle. I would definitely recommend this hotel. In fact I enjoyed it that much I am booking up again for next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cheers for taking time to read this!!!! Happy holidays from Craig & Lou
P.S. if you have been told its a short walk to the beach take no notice as its bout 1 hours walk but there is a bus that runs every 3-5 mins just next to the hotel which costs 1 lira and takes about 10 mins

I had read so many bad reviews i was dreading this holiday. We paid £250, and it was worth it. Rooms are clean, we got clean towels daily. Can be noisy at night with doors banging and people in corridors. Food is basic, but edible, i always found plenty to eat, loads of salads. Breakfast is limited but there is toast, coffee, cereal. You can eat out at breakfast for £2 at the Oasis Bar a few mins away and the breakfast is excellent. Staff all hotel very helpful and make you feel welcome. Entertainment is usually music, bingo, break dancers, belly dancers, nothing exciting, but it depends what you are looking for. THe play the same music every day, so if you got CD's take them and they will play them. We all really enjoyed the holiday and would definately go back, for £250 we couldnt complain.
Very nice!

To be honest before I went to the Green Abacus hotel I was dreading it, we paid about £230 per person for the week and I had read awful reviews and was really expecting the worst. When we first got there the rooms were clean and tidy and we had fresh towels. We had free air conditioning and considering it was an all-inclusive hotel we even had a fridge! The pool was average size and was only one depth, didn't have a shallow end, which was fine for us but could be a problem for small children.
The food was fine, although was a bit repetitive and basic but we expected that considering what we paid. Seemed to always be fresh and edible. The entertainment was basic but enjoyable and the staff were very polite and made a real effort. We took our own CD's which they were more than happy to play during the day. All the other guests were nice and friendly and we had a lovely time. All the reviews I read on here really put me off, I'm so glad I never listened and still went anyway. I think most people pay £230 and expect 5* treatment. I agree with 'you get what you pay for' and this hotel was exactly what we wanted for what we paid. P.S. For any people who would like to visit nightclubs, go to the beachfront, Bar X, salt and Pepper and Beach Club. There is also a lovely place called Picasso's that is near the Pasa Beach hotel that is lovely if you would like a really nice meal out for about £12!! One more thing about the hotel, most of the time there is no hot water but to be honest the weather was so warm that the shower cooled me down!

I went on holiday for a week in July with my mam. My mam said she was dreading going because of the reviews she read which also made me think "or god this holidays gonna be disappointing!"...but when we arrived the hotel looked clean and we were welcomed by some of the barmen who helped carry our cases to our room. The room wasn't anything out of this world but was clean and basic for the price we paid! The bar staff were great and talked to us most times day and night...the food wasn't excellent but good for the money! The entertainment at night was lively most times. The night clubs and restaurants around were GREAT! Bar Street and beach front were the place to be! Were both going bck next year with friends! And I can't wait. Definitely best holiday ever so far! Loved every minute.
