This was my second visit to the emre hotel. My 1st without my children, although I enjoyed my 1st time it was far better the 2nd as they had the animation team. My kids loved them we intend to go back this year for 2wks, hopefully the team will still be there? There is a lot of other nationalities and not many english, but we all had a good holiday.
Friendly staff

Very friendly staff.
Entertainment 'on' most evenings. Not many English but plenty of (hungry) Russians.

When I first arrived I had no room available as they were fully booked however my flights had been changed and I was technically half a day early!! The manager was lovely and put us up in a 4 star just down the road. The next day we returned to a hotel full of Russian ppl and horrible young barmen who only seem to serve you if they fancy you. The entertainment was appalling and so was the food!! All in all I wouldn't go back and it did tarnish my holiday and on whether I would go back to Turkey!!
One drink only

I travelled with 2 of my friends to EMRE BEACH, better that Emre Hotel that is accross the street.I had previously emailed to ask for a low down room for one friend who has a walking stick,on arrival after a bit of complaint I received the room.
Hot food not much to write about, not much choice.
Salads were vast and varied, and quite good.
There had been problems with people taking more drinks than required, and then leaving them to be discarded. The management however I feel handled the situation wrong, they implemented a policy of "ONE DRINK ONLY PER PERSON" with notices all over the bar. This meant that if you were a couple you had to go up to the bar twice, and in some instances if you were drinking vodka & coke it meant you had to walk up for a vodka, then back up agian for the coke?????
They management said they would look into a new way of service, but this never changed in the week we were there.
Many Russians & Bulgarians visit, they can get a bit pushy, but when they are told not to, they are quite nice people. They even complained about the 1 drink policy.
Hotel was clean, pools were nice, view fanatstic, and position to the beach second to none.
If you want 5 * service, got to a 5* hotel, and pay 5 * prices. If you want a cheap week or 2 week holiday and accept that there is no rush for anything in particular, then give the EMRE BEACH a go.I would go back as I found all of the staff pleasant.AND BELIEVE ME I HAVE BEEN TO QUITE A FEW BAD HOTELS AND I AM NOT AFRAID TO COMPLAIN. I would certainly go back, not for more than £220 a week though all inclusive.

Services, food quality, hygiene and all other aspects are all good at Emre Beach, specially if you compare them to other equivalent hotels in town. The more expensive hotels will charge you ridiculously for any extras. At Emre, you can get your own things with you to your room without any interrogation, as is the case with other hotels.
They also have free wifi, one thing that i personally found to be quite useful.
If you're going to Marmaris, use public transport there; it's the most feasible.
Don't buy your tours from your travel agent. you'll get much better deals their; just walking on the beach road, salesmen will be all over you. Don't forget to bargain.
Also, if you make your hotel booking online or over the phone, then you'll definitely get a much better location, be it at Emre or elsewhere.
Hotels have to occupy as much of their rooms as possible, and they rely on the volume of travel agents to do it!
