Top Local Tips for Kemer
Walks Avoid to enter shops in town. Don't buy, you will be cheeted. Next to the Marina a very nice park and also a traditional Turkish mountain village. Drinks are expensive , food is rather cheep.
Nearly no watersport possibilities, Pricy if there are some... Don't waste time at that hotel if you're young enthusiast... there are many other good places if you're a young couple or with your friends... just walk around that beautiful nature and I were you I'd travel along the coastal till the Marmaris nad Bodrum... A long way, but there are many 'Heaven's, like Kekova, Kas, Fethiye/Dead Sea, Gokova... You won't regret... just search for the pictures on the net and you'll see...
A small town A nice place for shopping, you get get cheap clothing and nice leather jackets. Not a lot to see or do in Kemer. But take a tour or a car and travel around. Lot of places to go and see.

It's not our first time in turkey but it's our first and last time for staying in this hotel.
From the first moment that we got there and find our room we saw that its can't be a 5 stars hotel the air conditionings and the refrigerator didn't work plus the door of the room didn't closed properly what lead me to the best part we were rob in our sleep!!!
Someone got in to the room and took our money and phones, when we complain about that to the staff they look at us like we are liars and were not understanding or even show a little of sympathy about that, they even treat that if we call the police we will pay for the charge of it.
So we spend a whole day running around trying to realize what just happen to us and when we wanted to have some fun we saw that there isn't much of activities in this hotel genre tennis, water games etc so it was boring.
The food isn't that good comparing to other hotels that we've been and the hot pool was closed so we couldn't even take a swim - the cold pool was freezing in this month of Mai.
Any way I really recommend you to go somewhere else when you come to Turkey there are some other great hotels and the orange county resort is not one of them.
