This hotel was amazing!! We visited first in July, and decided to return again in October the staff were soooo friendly and welcoming, the food was great and the drink was also acceptable. The pool area is a little cosy at the height of season but we didn't find this a problem. its is only around a 10min tops walk from the centre and its pleasant and quiet, but if you prefer the more noisy evening atmosphere you can also asked reception to make reservation at aura which will be made accordingly. This hotel was great. Although entertainment did die slightly toward the end of season but in July there was loads. The kid area is slightly lacking as well, but still provides light entertainment. There weren't as much variables on the drinks front (wine, vodka, gin, beer and raki available on all inc) all round we found this hotel very good when I visited with my daughter aged 16.

We booked this holiday over the interenet. We were happy with the standard of the hotel given the price we paid. We would not rate this hotel as four star, however it was always kept clean and the food was good but repetetive.
The lack of sunbeds meant we headed for the beach each day but this was a 20 minute walk unless you caught the free minibus to the pebbley beach. This meant not taking advantage of the lunches and drinks during the day.
The entertainment was very poor with one guy playing his keyboard two nights a week. Given this the nights were entertaining due to the size of the drink measures. Free drinks were restricted to beer, wine, vodka, gin, raki and mixers.
Overall we enjoyed the holiday but it is what you make it at the Grand Vikin Hotel.

This was a last minute deal booked on the internet. It was cheap and that should be borne in mind when booking.
First the positive stuff. The staff were friendly; the food was ok if you're not fussy.
The hotel has a 4 star rating. Remember that the ratings are based largely on what facilities there are at the hotel. This one has 2 pools, one indoor and one outdoor, a Turkish bath, a gym, a children's play area etc.
The problem is that the pictures on the internet are miss-leading. The outdoor pool is approx 50ft x 25ft. It also incorporates the children's pool in the corner cutting the size even more. The hotel has 100 rooms, average 2 guests per room and 200 people around the pool do not fit without doing a sardine impression. The reception area looks huge on the web site, it isn't. The entertainment is non existent during the day and amateur in the evening. The bar closes as an all inclusive option at 2300 and the local idea of a cocktail is a vodka and coke. The pictures on the web site portray the hotel as being much more sizable than it is. It also shows there are trees all around it. Not any more. There is a set of half finished buildings on one side and it would appear the ground has been cleared at the rear of the hotel in preparation for more building work. The description of being 200m from the town centre must be as the crow flies because it's a 20 minute walk.
I would rate this hotel as a 2plus star definitely not a 4 star.
