Bar Street It's very expensive to go to Bar Street, as everything is 3 times more expensive. It's a great place to say you've seen, but don't rely on it every evening. I found better bars along the beach-front

beware the market in ichmeler its expensive ..........im an expert haggler and often couldnt get them to offer as good a deal as the local shops! They con you by showing you an item eg pair of 'designer boxers' ok we all know their fake but the ones they show you are better then the ones in the boxes, the boxes dont always contain the ones it says on the front eg tommy hilfinger in a boss box and the sizes are all over the place...we bought 10 size M and the smallest fits my 10 year old step son and the largest my 20 stone father in law! they are agressive sometimes very rude and abusive and use a lot of pressure to get you to buy. The covered market in Marmaris is mostly fair and shops elsewhere display their prices and are usually fair. My advice would be DONT GO as a seasoned traveller and haggler even i fell prey to the cons buying a bag under extememe pressure only to notice later that the handles are so weakly attached i dont expect it to last long.
