Not a 5 or even 4-star hotel!!!

I checked in this afternoon. The staff at reception were polite. I was assigned an executive room on 6th floor. As soon as I entered, I could smell smoke. I opened the window to let some fresh air in. The noise was unberable. I then tried to do some work. Internet was not working at all. I called reception and complained. They sent somebody to fix the signal in my room. I also asked to change rooms. So I was moved to the 2nd floor. The noise there was even worse. I was eventually given a corner suite on 5th floor - non smoking floor. It is OK, but even the suite is not great. Furniture is modest. There is no pillow-choice option. No alarm clock or watch in the room. Bathroom is clean but as soon as you open the water tap, you'll realise the water is yellow-orange colour. I'm extremely disappointed with this hotel and will never return to it again. 145 euros for such a boring, noisy, not modern hotel is a rip-off. Especially when internet does not work and the noise is so bad that you can hardly do any work. It is also worth mentioning that all other services are extra: i.e. printing, using internet facilities in the lobby, etc. I havn't tried breakfast yet - will see what it is like tomorrow morning. My experience is, however, spoiled.
