I read the reviews on this site about the Hyatt in Istanbul, plus having stayed in the Hyatt in Manchester - I felt the Hyatt in Istanbul was going to be a good choice. However, I was mistaken. Here is my feedback on the Hyatt in Istanbul:
1) In-room items such as a small bottle of water will cost you in a region of a staggering £3. The same water bottle sold in a local supermarket will cost you less than 60p. The same goes with the other food/drink items. 2) Reception staff and door staff are OK not very Welcoming or customer focused.
3) If you are thinking of having your breakfast in your room, the Room Service will set you back around £12 each time.
Overall all, the Hyatt in Istanbul had great rooms but was a rip-off, even for a 5 star hotel and the customer service was poor. |

I was very impressed with the Hyatt Regency Istanbul. The interior design was excellent and I loved the bathroom. My one disappointment was that there was no swimming pool. Overall though I thought it was an excellent hotel. |
