UsePublic Transport and get the most out of it Try to use the TRAM and Metro.All things in Istanbul are centrally located.Take the tram and u are there by no time.Cheapest, safest and QUICKEST way to reach the mail attraction.donot go with any travel agency..spend more time on Roads...as Roads are busy like anything..u spend less time in visitng.Take a Hotel in blue mosque area and then u are within Walking distance of everything.Do not go to BURSA..absolutely nothing to SEE.

Excelent for historical places,for beautifull landscapes and romantic views Do not miss Dolmabahce Palace (10 EUR/person) (it is presented with tour guide in english) and take a full tour with HAREM also. Do not miss the CISTERNS (5 EUR/person). Do not miss Topkapi Palace (10 EUR/person) and especially the beautifull and valuable gemstones. Do not mis GALATA TOWER and restaurant inside (reservations only, 40 EUR/person) -it was the cherry on the cake, with beautifull views and excellent live, interactive show, making all nationalities to feel welcome. Chose to eat in one of the many small restaurants in the historical penninsula, the food is great. Go to the GREAT BAZZAR for shopping. Do not believe their prices. It is like an auction with the price going down. The innitial price is only the opening bet. On some items we could get 60% discount but at least 30% we could get on all items. If they say one price, you make your own price, just thinking how much would you spend on that item and accept nothing more. If one don't cooperate don't worry, go to another
