My husband and I visited Istanbul on our honeymoon in June 2004 and I selected Hotel Fehmi Bey via the internet. I am very glad I did. The location was great, the place was clean and well run. The staff was friendly and efficient and while very professional, the hotel still felt comfortable and, well, 'homey.' The big, warm-hearted golden retriever who takes up residence in the foyer adds to a very nice ambiance. I definitely recommend it -- in that price category, it exceeds expectations. (oh, and we LOVED Istanbul!)
