Great location, bad service

The hotel has a good location, we can visit Blue Mosque, Ayasophia, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazzar... in a few minutes, we also can see a great view on balcony and top floor. However, the waiters who work in the restaurant are not polite, they disturb( try to accost)our group members( single women), it makes us feel uncomfortable! I think they should enhance their" in-service training"!

Istanbul is everything you hear about and more! There is so much history in Istanbul and so much of that history has been preserved. On top of that, the Turkish people are so welcoming. You need at least a week to see everything and appreciate them properly.

shopping in Istanbul If you have time then shop for things in Taksim rather than dealing with the vendors in Sultanhamet. they only really negotiate with tourists in Istanbul. It appears the locals don't do this anymore. You also are more likley to get the real deal rather than crappy tourist stuff made in China.
