This is my third visit to the Remer and I shall certainkly be back. The location is excellent, directly on the local bus route and just 50 meters from the beach and main resort facilities. The roms were cleaned EVERY day with new bed linen and towels provided. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. Special mention to the cleaning staff, the chef and Arrif the gorgeous waiter. Izzy the new barman has increasd the entertainment program since joining recently and has bigger plans for next year. The hotel opened 11 years ago and still has the same manager, Ramazan. He is a real gem and if you show any sense of humour, he will join in. He is also a fantastic dancer which surprised me as I thought he was very shy when we first met him. Turkish people are very reserved, helpful and friendly. If you are friendly and smile at them then they will reciprocate. Having lived and worked in Corfu for 10 years I can assure you that the standards here in Turtkey/Remer Hotel far exceed that of Greece. The quality and standard of service CANNOT be equalled. Only downside at the Remer was the lack of a children's pool but that didn't affect me but could affect people with children. The shallow end of the pool is 1.25m. I am more than happy to reccommend this hotel.

Top Local Tips for Fethiye

so much to see and do make sure you explore this fantastic area, Fethiye is lovely, Olu Deniz - paragliding is fab, Dalyan - do it by local bus, much nicer than organised trip, Kaya Village is a must see, Calis is great for beach and restaurants, try to visit Guvens on the beach for fantastic traditional food, Uzumlu dog and cat sanctuary - go along and make a donation to this great centre, Uzumlu Village is very pretty and take a dolmus to Katranchi or Gunlucklu bays to see gorgeous beaches and scenary away from the crowds. The trips around the bays are lovely, espeicially the ones on the smaller boatsfrom the water taki base in Calis.So much to see and do in this area, spolit for choice
