A complete shambles

Dirty rooms, faulty air-con, broken fridges/showers, incorrect charges for food & drinks etc etc. Waiting staff work like trojans and are very friendly but management are more interested in attracting paying diners than they are in the satisfaction of it's HB & B&B guests. "Entertainments" staff get paid for doing nothing and we had to organise events ourselves whilst Erol constanly swore in front of children and his English wife Sonia stood around and complained that it was too hot. Turkey is a great place to visit with a lovely climate, beautiful scenery and lots to do. Ovacik is within 5 minutes of the famous Blue Lagoon and lively Hisaronu but the Monta Verde should be relabelled the Monta Merde!

Brilliant base for a great holiday

The rooms are basic but where very clean and cleaned every day, ideal as a base. 8 of us went for 2 weeks and all of us fully enjoyed ourselves. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is good, breakfast a bit naff (Turkish style). The apartments are sited in a good location just out side of the town (a walk away). It's just next to the main road into town (not a busy road), can be a little noisy at times if your apartment faces the road. Lots to do in the area, Book trips in the town (see hamish McTurk at the bottom of the village)The price of drinks in the hotel are the same as lot of the bars in the town.

Great Hotel Fab Staff and No Dirt

My husband and I stayed here in may 2007 and it was lovely. The staff were great the food was fab. The kitchen clean. Our room was cleaned daily and often rose petal and towel decorations where placed on our beds. It was such a great place I have just EM them again to Book for a short break in 2008.

Booked for two weeks and stayed for 1 night. Absolutely filthy, left and went to stay in orka down the road. Would not let my dog stay here.

I think everyone should come to Montverde as it has quality written all over it. Great staff, very friendly and very good services. I thought it would be a normal villa, but this made me think twice and I really enjoyed the pool, bar, atmosphere, Jacuzzi, sauna and especially the staff. They were really cool.
