Top Local Tips for Fethiye

Minibus Heaven If you want a drink in the evening or want to go a bit further afield and don't want to drive or haven't hired a car then take a dolmus (white minibus). At 50p for a trip from Calis Beach to Fethiye its a bargain and they run every 5 to 10 minutes throughout the day and evening from 7am to 11pm, sometimes later. An excellent alternative to a taxi, some of which can be less than scrupulous about the route they will take you to clock up sometimes double what the fare should be. The dolmus is so easy to catch - no bus stops - just stick out your hand, wherever you are on the road and they will stop and pick you up. Pay the driver when you get off.You can catch a dolmus to just about any of the sites/resorts/towns in the area and the driver will tell you when to get off if you ask him!
