Fethiye to Calis Try the dolmus to Fethiye on Tuesday (Market Day) and return via the water taxi or vice versa. Don't forget to try a trip on the water taxi at night. Its quite interesting watching the boat's captain steering from the starboard side of the boat with a broom handle while trying to look for the bouys that get him safely in to calis.

Calling all shopaholics! Turkish markets are a shopper's paradise - especially for girls! Guys - there's plenty man-products too! Haggling is expected & good fun - if you ask the price, they will give you an extortionate price, then its up to you to offer about one third - I always say I have 6 grand-children, 5 husbands & a goldfish to feed to reduce the price! You'll find treasures gallore, very often 3 handbags, belts or such for £10. If you smile nicely & flirt a little you can usually reduce the price more! Guys if you try this make sure the vendor is female! Oh - not forgetting shoes! You can buy fakes or genuine copies - we bought a beautifully crafted "Prada" wallet in rich thick leather for £5 & who the heck back home knows the difference! When markets get near closing, prices are often cheaper. Its a good idea to wait & buy your T shirts at Fethiye market - last year I got 3 designer T shirts for £5. Be careful if you want the genuine article - a specialist shop is then the best bet.
