Best hotel I have ever stayed in - been twice and plan to get again next year, the staff are just amazing, and the guests are always so friendly.

This hotel is the best I would definitely go again. People who made it good were entertainment team Ozzie, Charlie is the best and Leo.

I have been to this hotel six times now (2002, 2003, july 2005, september 2005, july 2006, sept 2006). PRICE In the last couple of years it has been all inclusive, and I must say that I definately prefer this option. The hotel was expensive as a half-board hotel, and the price only increased maginally when it went AI. And considering how drinsk prices in the area are not cheap (around £3.50 for a vodka and diet coke) its definately worth the extra when you consider that on average we drank 10 drinks each a night! To find the best price it is advisable to book around a year in advance, we use portland-direct.co.uk and there seems to be a dip in prices around this time. We booked for august 23rd 07 in oct 06, and the price is now 125 higher than when we booked. LOCATION The hotel is on the beach front (around a 30 second walk to the sands edge). However this beach is quite pebbley and can be difficult to get in and out of the water (we usually did it in twos for support!). But the blue lagoon is just a 20 minute walk down the road (with a free curtesy bus from the hotel to and from the beach). The blue lagoon is beautiful, the water is calm and the sand is very soft. There are several beachs to choose from and we always went to the Suara beach. ROOMS The rooms are always kept clean by the lovely cleaners (and trust me.... Im not a tidy person!). They speak very little english but thet never stops them having a laugh with you. I even got a big hug off the cleaner the last time we went (think thats a sign that ive been too many times!). The rooms in and annexes are slightly larger but on my recent visits I have chosen to stay in the rooms in the main area, in particular above reception. These rooms are ample size for two people. This choice was due to the fact that I have been with a group of friends and we felt safer knowing that when we were stumbling in at 5 am we would walk through the reception. Also as we tend to not come back all together it means the one who goes back first isnt woken by the later one as reception are very happy to use the master key to let you into your room.... infact they would be ready and waiting for us many a time! RESTAURANTS The food is lovely, with there being a large selection at breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also an A La Carte restaurant, which at an extra of £4 you are able to go to, and choose either a thai, indiana or italian set menu. I would DEFINATELY reccomend the a la carte menu, £4 is very little esp. for the quality you get. My favourite menu is the thai, I just cant get enough of the spicey thai salad!!! BARS There are two bars at the hotel. The pool bar is much more relaxed, with the Plaza Bar providing a little dance floor for you to have a boogie. Olu Deniz is no Ibiza, there is one club at the end of the road called Crusoes which is open till very very late. With one bar called Help Bar being open till 2 am and another bar down the adjacent stretch of shops called North to Defend which is open really late also! However Hisaronu is only a short dolmus bus ride away and there are LOTS of bars here, with the taxi ride home being around 20 lira at night. And if your feeling adventurous the main club in fethiye is called Bananas, with this being 40 lira in a taxi home. Do make sure you decide on the price before you use the taxi to get home though!!!! STAFF This is what makes the hotel so special in my eyes. The staff are AMAZING. Always smiling, attentive and great to have a chat to! They always remember you from previous visits and I have aquired a few very good friends from the hotel, keeping in regular contact over the winter. Even the shop keeper in one of the shops local to the hotel remembered me from two years previous!!!! How they remember everyone i will never know! You will also find that alot of guests become firm friends (I keep in regular contact with several people i have met there, and three years later two of them feel more like my sisters than girls i met abroad). Also do to the high percentage of repeat guest many people meet year after year while on holiday also. So even if you are a lone traveller its very unlikely you will be alone while you are there! I know everyone hears the horror stories about turkish "rats", and i must admit they do sometimes have low opinions of english girls as well. Sadly there are the girls who go on holiday for one reason only, and leave little to the imagination, and this is the stereotype they believe, just like many english people believe the turkish are smarmy, sleezy and just after a visa. But of course not all english girls are like that, and in return not all the boys are like that. and luckily you dont tend to see this stereotype of english girl in Olu Deniz. Sorry this review is so long but after so mant visits I always have a lot to say! In summary if you are after a relaxing but fun holiday, where you feel safe and welcome then dont miss the opertunity to go to Belcekiz Beach.... and once you've been be prepared to want to go again. 80% of guests are repeat guests.... that to me is reccomendation enough.

The holiday was absolutely great. The food was very good and plenty of it. The entertainment staff were excellent, shows were very professional. Cleaners were excellent, rooms very clean. All staff very good. One downer the bar manager was very rude to his staff we observed day after day shouting and clicking of fingers come on they could not have worked any harder, but he was quite smarmy to any blonde young lady luckily most could see through him!!!!!!

The holiday was great the food was lovely after time you would have the same things but it didn't really matter. Edi & Numa was cool and Mert is helpful with your bags. The cleaners where very good. Over all the holiday was great and I would love to go back .I would recommend it to anyone.

This is a great hotel, I would recommend it to anyone. The entertainment was great, especially Air and Metin and Steve, they were great. The bar staff were great, especially Edi and Numan. Thanks for a great holiday. The only thing is the pool bar manager was a bit rude, but the rest of the staff made up for this. Honestly now if u want the best holiday of your life go here. All the staff are friendly and commited to making your stay enjoyable.

This was by far the best holiday me and my family have had yet, my two children did not want to come home. The accomedation was clean, tidy. The rooms just the right size. The food was outstanding. The entertainment team was very funny and the made everybody feel welcome. all the staff were outstanding. I would recommend any body to go there, I have already booked to go back.
