Great views, friendly staff and nice rooms

This place is the nicest hotel I have seen in Cappadocia! It is special because it is the only one located at the top of a mountain (Mount Esbelli) while the others are located at the bottom of the mountain. This gives great views over the vallyes surrounding Urgup and at night you can wacth the sunset from the Hilltop terrace, wonderful!

The food is great too, traditional Turkish kitchen, prepared by local women who work in the hotel. I had the privilege to meet the owner, Mr. Haydar Haykir who is also a licenced walking guide. He showed me some nice locations normally unaccessible for tourists, Tesekur ederim

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who want a special holiday in this interesting region called Cappadocia.

Top Local Tips for Cappadocia

Don't be cheap A balloon ride is very expensive but well worth it. Floating through and above the valleys of fairy chimneys and cave dwellings is unlike anything else on earth, and this moonscape setting is the perfect place to have the panoramic views that ballooning offers.

ADVENTURE THERE ARE MANY THINGS TO DO IN URGUP HOWEVER ONE MUST NOT MISS THE EARLY MORNING HOT AIR BALLOON RIDE IT'S EXPENSIVE BUT MIND BLOWING

Ballon ride Althought its price is a little bit expensive, 150 Euros per person, the ballon ride is really a must! The bus gets you at the hotel at 4:45 am because the ballon hot air needs be in contact with the fresh air of the morning, but the ride is really worthy ( its price and waking up so early in the morning!!). Just don´t miss it!!
