Elkep Evi Hotel Cappadocia

This place is the nicest hotel I have seen in Cappadocia! It is special because it is the only one located at the top of a mountain (Mount Esbelli) while the others are located at the bottom of the mountain. This gives great views over the vallyes surrounding Urgup and at night you can wacth the sunset from the Hilltop terrace, wonderful! The food is great too, traditional Turkish kitchen, prepared by local women who work in the hotel. I had the privilege to meet the owner, Mr. Haydar Haykir who is also a licenced walking guide. He showed me some nice locations normally unaccessible for tourists, Tesekur ederim (Thanks)Haydar! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who want a special holiday in this interesting region called Cappadocia.
