I call it paradise for me it is the most wonderful place. the Hotel is family run and the staff are the friendliest most caring people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. I have been going to the Manuela hotel for 10yrs. At first I went with a friend but for the last 8yrs I have been going on my own and feel completely safe and the staff all look out for me, in fact I feel like one of the family. The standard of cleanliness in the hotel is ist class and the Restaurant and bar are 2nd to none. the Temple bar at the hotel is the place to be for entertainment, good company and having fun, but never rowdy. I have made so many friends at the Manuela and we all meet up again each year, because once you have been you go back year after year.The manuela is right on the beach and if you have walking difficulty everything is flat no kerbs no hills no steps. It is ideal. I can only highly reccomend this Hotel to young and old alike.
I am just getting ready for my first holiday there this year, hope to see you there.

Top Local Tips for Bodrum

Careful on the beach Although the main part of the beach is sandy there is a fair bit of rock and shingle along the sea edge and into the water (beware unsuspecting toes) so some waterproof sandles for sea use are in order.

good food may or sept. gets very hot in between

traditional Meals Stay away from the sea front and eat in one of the traditional turkish restaurants. Great value and wonderful food.
