I am back from the La Blanche hotel it was terrible. There was crumbs and staining on the floor, and at night staff pretended to be ghosts to scare us away. The spa was even worse, I would not recommend anyone to go there. The massage was rough and left me with back issues.

I am just back from the holidays in La Blanche. My friends and I spent a lovely week there (my advice - go there at least for 10 days, 7 is not enough :) - La Blanche is located in a very picturesque place. 10 min walk and you can go to the market on Saturdays to buy fruit & sweets. PA&Wellness was our favourite with Hamam, Sauna & Steam Bath. One could experience there different kinds of massage. Thai massage was really good, massage with volcanic stones was very pleasant & relaxing, after massage you could enjoy some tea in the relaxing room :)- Animation team was just awesome!! One could be involved in different kinds of activities to any taste: water polo, tennis, beach volleyball, pool games, aqua aerobics (both in the pool and in the sea), darts, ping-pong, salsa.. Every night you could enjoy shows from animation team in the amphitheatre! Boat sailing was fantastic! You visit several islands, snorkel and go fishing!! I would recommend La Blanche for people who are seeking for having fun & great time, new impressions, new friends!!

Good price for the services provided! Great food rich and tasty, very kind staff, good services. Location is great, near Turgutreis which is a wonderful town very pitoresque. The best SPA&Wellness centre I have ever been to with a great relaxation room and very nice and caring personal. If you want total relaxation, to get away from everything and have great body treatments go to the Spa centre. A wonderful place to spend your vacation!

We as a family booked this hotel 2 weeks prior to going. We got there early on the 07 Aug, got up for breakfast on return to our fantastic room we had breakfast in our room, this happened for two days. Nott many British people there the first week, second lots more. Not a problem though, staff make you feel special, Animation team fantastic, Vovo, Gino, Adam, Olga, Ricky all worked hard .Location fantastic, ten minute walk to town if you wanted to go. It was that good in the hotel, we didn’t bother. Not a bad word to say. Would highly recommend this hotel to anybody. Staff professional. We had two kids one aged 7 years, one 10 months both enjoyed as we did as parents, food great, beer great, all inclusive means just that, you can get whatever you want whenever you want. Private beach fantastic. From the moment we left the UK to the moment we returned no complaints whatsoever. Brilliant

We've just come back from a week in La Blanche which is a lovely hotel. We were there during a heatwave where the temperatures were mid 40s everyday so the sun loungers on the jetties out to sea were a welcome relief - even if you did have to grab them early to ensure you got an umbrella. They were also away from the main pool so we didn't have the hassle of constant aqua aerobics and volley ball tournaments. There were two groups of English holidaymakers staying there so I'm a bit annoyed that First Choice did not let us know that we would be very much isolated and surrounded by groups of Dutch, German and Eastern European holiday makers. The rest of the town has loads of English hotels though so you will have to leave the comfort of all inclusive and head to town for entertainment as it's dead at the hotel at night. The staff do love the English though as they say that we smile and the others dont - just as well seeing as our rep was never about. The staff did not understand much English but it looks as if the Doctor problem mentioned in a previous posting has been addressed as there is a sign in the lobby stating 24 Doctor. It was just annoying asking for things and the staff pretending that they understood and then nothing got done and not having anyone around to help sort it out. Pretty much a let down in the evening, the bar was clear and empty by 11pm and it wasn't much fun sitting there anyway being drowned out by loud groups from the Ukraine! Meal times are mad, my advice is get there early as they don't tend to re-stock many of the dishes and the other guests really take full advantage of the free food - even if it is the same every day! The a la carte restaurants are great though, but make sure you're at the desk at 10am to book your spot. The hotel is perfectly located just a short walk from town but be careful if you're drinking in Tash's bar, they don't let you pay for drinks as you order them and so they keep a tab for you, we were warned that they'd been caught putting on extra drinks on tabs, then found out for ourselves when 3 beers, 2 jds and a bottle of water that we didn't have appeared on our bill! They know they're doing it as well and we're very sheepish when we pulled them on it, but I think it's just females that it happens to. All in all a very relaxing holiday - but we wouldn't have stayed here if we knew that we would be the only Brits on site!

Superb hotel.100% recommended.Cant understand why people complain about the food. If they expect roast beef & two veg on a Sunday why not try a hotel in Blackpool. The food was excellent and very varied. The staff were always on hand to help and we had no difficulty in making them understand. Why do people always expect staff to talk English, whilst they themselves never try to learn another language. If you required anything such as a doctor, which we did,we found that actually asking at reception if a doctor was on call brought a positive reply. The only reason that we did not give this hotel a 10 was because the hairdresser charged in Euros where the rest of the hotel was in Lira. He also did extras without mentioning the price or telling you what he was doing. The final bill was a lot higher than the original quote. The hotel is well positioned on the beach and within easy reach of Bodrum and all the local beaches. If you are loking for a great hotel then look no further.

Great Hotel, Shame About The Other Guests

Me and my partner recently travelled to Turkey to review hotels. On arriving at the La Blanche Hotel on the 6th June we were promptly told that we were the first English guests to stay at this hotel (the hotel only opened a couple of days before)!! The rooms in this hotel are massive!!! I originally thought that we were given a suite because the room had a seperate living area, but soon found out that our room was standard. This hotel does not cater for the english clientele very well with the food, it is mainly suited to the russians and germans (hence the title of this review)!!! We were the only english guests staying at this hotel which was a bit off putting. If you are english and you do decide to stay at this hotel, you can be sure that the staff (particuarly the bar staff) will bend over backwards to help you, they love the english guests as we are polite, unlike the russians and germans!!! Overall this hotel lives up to it's 5 star award, it's just the other guests that let the hotel down, but if you don't mind about the other guests and the lack of food that us english like to eat then book it, pack it and f**k off!!! (as Peter Kay would say)

In my previous entry, the total rating was incorrect. 3 out of 10 was not intended, 7 out of 10 would be fairer. We enjoyed our holiday even though we were very isolated, and right now, with our pleasant memory's, would happily be back there.
