Top Local Tips for Bodrum

Excellent dinner at hotel opposite Try the Bantur & Naz hotel just over the road. They do a buffet, 'eat as much as you like 'evening meal for £6 per head and it is excellent quality, variety, quantity, service and surroundings. You can just walk in to their dining room and sit at a table - they welcome people from outside the hotel (which caters mostly for French people so the standard of food was very good). The restaurant manager was very pleasant and welcoming. We ate there on several occasions and only wish we had discovered it earlier in our stay!

Watch the photographer We have just returned from another great holiday in Bodrum. We spent a memorable day on a jeep safari Tuesday 18th of September. The trip was booked through a local tour operator Bodex (with whom we have booked many enjoyable trips in the past). Whilst on the tour there was a photographer. He offered to sell us a cd containing over 500 photos, which he would deliver to the hotel. We have never once been ripped off in Turkey and therefore thought nothing of paying him the £10 he asked. The cd never materialised and despite all efforts of Bodex tours we could not get a copy. Getting ripped off for a tenner is neither here or there but we were really looking forward to seeing the cd.
